TM Arts Collective at Open Studios

This will be the last Open Studios run by Council – next year it will be over to the region’s different communities to organise their own or a similar event.

But all importantly for his year’s Open Studios the Collective is using two sites.

We have plenty of talented arts and artisans to enable this, but it means your will need to visit both sites!

Our  official site is the beautiful Georgian Room at St George’s Anglican  Church in Dapsang Street.

Here you will see painting and drawing, printmaking, fabric artists and  designers, folk art, millinery  and  ceramics.

A fashion parade will be held on both Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm to showcase the wonderful artistry of our fabric artists and designers.

Meet up with Betty Bull, Marianne Halpin, Julie Martyn, Hannah  Braun, Shannon Hunter, Sue Morris, Caroline Lister, Denise Shellshear, Linda Harden, Marj Simonsen, Margaret Smit, Helen Griffin, and Doreen Wendt-Weir who is a published author and textile artist.

At the TM showground you will see members with more wonderful displays including fibre art and basketry, painting and illustrating, Aboriginal paintings and artifacts, jewellery, glass and  metalwork.

Other members such as Margaret Goldsmith with husband Neil, Deboran Wright and Ron Bryant will be in their own studios and would love to see you.
